[Bug 66222] gnome panel segfault/crash

Description of the problem:
While opening a tar.gz in fileroller and double clicking on a README file to open it gnome-panel crashed. It is unclear whether the two events are related.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Download http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/doomlegacy/legacy_142_linux.tar.gz
2. Make sure Open with Archive Manager (default) is selected and click OK.
3. Within fileroller double click on the directory.
4. Scroll the window down to README and double click it then quickly go to the top of the window while it is still selected and click on View.

Expected results:
README to appear in gedit. No gnome-panel crashes.

Actual results:
README appears in gedit. Apport appears and asks whether I want to report a crash.

How reproducible is this bug:
Can't reproduce it.

gnome-panel 2.16.1-0ubuntu2
