[Bug 64424] selector does not allow me to choose the other disk

Binary package hint: gparted

When recently trying to install edgy i386 on the live cd........ at the
partition segment of the installation, it would not let me manually edit
the partition table of my second sata drive. Both were properly
detected... and in the menu it shows sda and sdb.... but when i select
"manually edit" (so i can make my /home partition separate) ..... it
only lets me choose sda through that little button on the top right
