Hello,
Please note that I selected to use the default gdm.conf-custom file when
dpkg-reconfigure was started during dist-upgrade. The current conf files
are not problematic, which probably means they are not useful. However,
I keep backups which means that I do have my gdm conf files from
*before* I upgraded.
I am including 4 files in all: 2 current, 2 backup.
I do have one question: In gdm.conf-custom, it mentions that gdm.conf
should no longer be used. But without gdm.conf gdm does not start. Why
is that?
$ gdm --version
GDM 2.16.1
I hope this helps.
UPDATE: I do not know how to upload more that one attachment per
comment. If someone can tell me how to do this, I would appreciate it.
