evolution-data-server has been rebuilt without gnome-keyring this
morning (bug #63443)

removing the keyring is not possible though. nautilus, gnome-vfs, etc
use it to store passwords and have no other way to store a password.
Write duplicated code because some people don't like a keyring doesn't
make sense. Some other people will not like the keyring nor the plain
text format and will want another format, etc. Upstream already has
enough of code without writing extra code and maintain because some
people want to remove the gnome-keyring. Note that if entering your
password is your only issue with the keyring there is a pam-keyring
feature being work: cf bug #43169 by example
