[Bug 63374] Edgy + XGL + Compiz -> file-roller crashes X

Public bug reported:

Every time I open file-roller, my X server dies. I know this is not
really a file-roller bug, but I wanted to file it here for future
reference.

Any ideas on how to get any good debug info from such a crash? I'd like
to find out what causes this.

This is Edgy, using XGL and compiz from compiz.net. Nvidia hardware and
"nvidia" driver.
