[Bug 63263] Edgy 6.10 Beta - Two floppy drives shown in Gnome but only have one installed

Public bug reported:

Under Gnome, it shows that I have two floppy drives, but I only have one
installed. One is called " Floppy 1 " and the other is " Floppy Drive ".
One will activate the floppy for access and the other returns an error
stating it cannot mount the selected floppy drive. This bug was also
present in Knot 3 and exists in both Kubuntu 6.10 Beta and Ubuntu 6.10
Beta. Here are my specs:

DFI AK75EC Motherboard
Athlon 2000+ CPU
512 meg of RAM
Nvidia Ti4600 AGP
