Both on my machine do not work. Hibernate, I get "Authentication failed. Letters must be typed in the correct case" and I did not type anything in. In suspend I get a white screen then it just returns to the login screen. -- hibernate doesn't work from gdm itself https://launchpad.net/bugs/3642
