hmm, for some odd reason... that doesn't work against rhythmbox... it
works against ls tho.

when i try it against rhythmbox. "rhythmbox -d > log" it created a blank
file called log and dumps all the output to the screen. if i run "ls >
hi" i get a nice listing of my files in a file called hi... wtf
