[Bug 73389] png's and gif's are printea out black

Public bug reported:

I'm running Ubuntu Edgy Eft, and everything works fine. 
But I just tried to print some Pictures with gthumb (2.7.9), and the pictures are all displayed correctly, jpgs, pngs and gifs. When I try to print them the jpgs are printed perfectly, but where the other images should be is only deep black...

Note: the original reporter indicated the bug was in package 'gthumb2';
however, that package was not published in Ubuntu.
