Public bug reported:

Hi,

I've found on dapper that if I try to change the current password of one user by a generated one using users-admin, the new password is not saved.
If I use the first option and choose myself a password, it is saved...

Step to reproduce :

1. start users-admin (Système -> administration -> users & groups)
2. edit one user
3. select the "generate random password" (write it on a sheet of paper)
4. save & quit
5. open a terminal
6. su - <your_user>, and try the old password & the new one

In my case the good password is the old one.

This has not been tested on edgy.
