[Bug 72087] Crash when "merge down" (or "Combinar hacia abajo) a layer

Public bug reported:

I was editing an XCF image with tree layers, and when I did the "merge
down" (in spanish spells "Combinar hacia abajo") command to the two
upper layers, gimp crashed.

I tried to reproduce the bug but it worked without problems.
