Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

I've recently installed Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy with GNOME 2.16.1. As mail-
client I'm using Evolution 2.8.1. I have noticed the following problem
with IMAP accounts: every IMAP account shows the "normal" folders
(inbox, sent etc.), but additionally it also shows an empty and nameless
folder.

This folder cannot be deleted, the subscription cannot be cancelled.
Trying this I'm getting error messages such as: "cannot delete folder:
unknown folder".

The nameless folder definitely doesn't exist at the account (I checked
by web access of the account at my provider's control center). I've
tried with other e-mail clients (Outlook, Thunderbird, KMail), they all
can access the IMAP-account without any problems and without showing
empty nameless folders.

I have also tried with different IMAP-accounts, have created fresh
accounts from the scratch at my provider. I have even tried Evolution
2.8.1 at different computers. At last I have tried another provider
(using a freemail IMAP account). Every time Evolution shows the same
problem: a mysterious nameless IMAP-folder which I cannot get rid of. I
have also started Ubuntu and Evolution from the live DVD: still the same
problem.

** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
