[Bug 70489] Reovable media gets mounted halfway through format

Binary package hint: gparted

When I format of partition a removable drive in gparted, it gets mounted halfway through the format and the filesystem becomes corrupted. My workaround is to disable automatic mounting of removable media before the format, and enable it again afterwards.
Surely gparted should do this itself when it formats a drive?
