I have the corrupted buttons on an IBM T40 with a Radeon Mobility M7 LW and the ati driver. I've only noticed it on the buttons, and it clears up when the mouse moves over them. -- Cairo and ATI RENDER extension cause scrambled buttons in UbuntuLooks https://launchpad.net/bugs/34435
