[Bug 46796] Totem-xine uses 100% cpu

Using a Trident CyberhomeXP video card in a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 Laptop. Have all latest updates.
DVD playback is very jerky (DMA enabled) - dropping many frames. Ran fine in Breezy on same machine so not a cpu speed issue.
Tried using totem-gstreamer - same results, if not slightly worse.
Suspect video driver not behaving correctly.
