Public bug reported:
Using Dapper Beta. Apologies in advance for filing this against the
wrong package!
Totem-Gstreamer (or whatever GST component decodes shoutcast playlists -
looks like a similar thing is happening in Rhythmbox) resolves relative
file links as being /home/[user]/[PATH] instead of being relative to
where the playlist is saved.
This creates some odd results:
1) Open Totem-GStreamer
2) Enqueue a list of music files
3) Save the playlist in the same folder as the music files or in a folder above that folder (if it is not in one of these it uses file://[Absolute path])
4) Open the playlist in Totem-Gstreamer
5) You get an error "Totem could not play file /home/[user]/[relative path]"
It should be trying to play [Path of playlist][Relative path].
** Affects: gstreamer0.10 (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
