Sorry... my mistake:
gst-launch-0.10 filesrc location=/path/to/Layla.mp3 ! decodebin ! fakesink

filesrc doesn't take an URI but a location.

If that fails too please attach the same as before:
GST_DEBUG=5 GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 filesrc location=/path/to/Layla.mp3 ! decodebin ! fakesink
