Thanks for your bug. Do you know how you did add that bookmark item?
There was a bug about it which is fixed now:

nautilus (2.14.1-0ubuntu4) dapper; urgency=low

  * debian/patches/04_dont_bookmark_desktop.patch:
    - don't bookmark the desktop when pressing ctrl-D on it

Maybe you added using that before the fix? In which case I suggest to
close the bug since the issue is fixed now and you just have to clear
that entry on your installation. What do you think about it?
