[Bug 44514] shutdown button does not shutdown but log out

Public bug reported:

Clicking on the logout option in the gnome-system menu brings this
dialog box with the options. When I click on "shutdown" the system does
not shutdown but somehow logs me out. It seems not to be exactly a
normal logout, since the gnome-sessions somehow get corrupted when I use
this button. (But I am not sure if this is just another bug.)

This problem appeared with the last update I made on Friday. Besides the
"hibernate" and "suspend" buttons disappeared from this dialog (which is
not part of the bug, but probably gives you more hints on when the
problem was introduced).

infos:
dapper drake, updated this morning (dist-upgraded from breezy some time ago)
gnome-panel 2.14.1-0ubuntu10
gnome-session 2.14.1-0ubuntu6
thinkpad T43p

** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu)
