One of the basic things I'd expect in a default install of a Linux
desktop distro is a specialised IRC client, I don't really care about
getting support for Ubuntu. It's a pity that XChat-GNOME has been
removed, Gaim's IRC functionality just won't cut it. Please get it back
in. Besides e-mail and instant messaging, IRC is essential for
communication for a lot of users.
