[Bug 35696] Notification Bubbles Rendering Incorrectly

The notification bubble has two 'prongs' one going to the Rhythmbox
icon, as expected, and the other pointing to some other location. The
Bottom of the bubble goes off the bottom of the screen.

Notifications are OK for the first couple minutes after logging in, then they go weird like this.

Note: the original reporter indicated the bug was in package 'gnome-desktop'; however, that package was not published in Ubuntu.
