[Bug 36465] gconf editor crashes

Description:
gconf-editor crashes when I attempt to change a value within it.  I do
this by going to system->gstreamer->0.8->default and try to change the
audiosink and gconf-editor crashes with the following error to the
terminal.

*** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x082ef750 ***

I have 2.14.0-0ubuntu1.
