In Gaim 2.0.0 we've replaced the triangle expander thingy in the account
dialog with two tabs.  That should take care of this specific issue.

There are other places in Gaim where we used the same widget (the file
transfer window).  In these places we've switched to using the Gtk
implementation of this widget ("GtkExpander") instead of our own, older
version.  That should take care of this issue anywhere else it might
occur.

As for what to do about this bug in Ubuntu... that's for the Ubuntu
people to decide if it's worth backporting the change (my guess would be
that's it's not worth it).
