[Bug 35777] gedits warning messages corrupt icon bar

Description:
Hi,

when i open a file twice in gedit the yellow background thats supposed
to be under the warning message is over the icon bar making it
invidible, moving the mouse over the icons reveals them

this is similar to #35327 but i dont think its the same (looks different
in the screenshot)
