Moreover, additional details regarding this bug have surfaced: "if I
manually place the icons leaving about 2cm between them vertically, they
don't move, but after Clean Up By Name they change locations
invariably."

Please do at least acknowledge this bug, it's indeed very annoying and
does not belong in a professional OS which Mark aims for.
