@hva: you can customize it with your own hal policies, but I agree that
the previous behavior with gconf keys was much easier; however, upstream
removed it in the last minute; I was not really happy about that, but
that's apparently where upstream wants to go :(

@Jan: I specifically left VFAT and NTFS drives visible, since most users
do want to see them for data exchange and such. We can change the
defaults easily, no problem, we just need to agree to something that's
sensible for the common case.
