[Bug 35168] [Dapper] "piping" doesn't work

Description:
In the man page of Gedit, it says that Gedit supports piping. They give
an example : "ls -l | gedit".

It doesn't work: when I do that, Gedit pops up, but the document is
empty, as if I hadn't piped anything.
