[Bug 35051] The screensaver fades twice

Description:
First it fades slowly and then just as it becomes completely black, it
jumps back out to full brightness again and fades again but this time
more quickly.

I'm running Dapper i386 in and AMD64 system with an nvidia GeForce4 MX
4000 card, using the Free drivers.
