[Bug 35010] Fails to install: No /etc/alternatives/x-cursor-theme

Description:
I get this error when trying to upgrade to ubuntu-artwork 8:
update-alternatives: unable to make /usr/share/icons/default/index.theme.dpkg-tmp a symlink to /etc/alternatives/x-cursor-theme: No such file or directory

This might be because I have cleaned out dangling symlinks in
/etc/alternatives after some cronjob keapt sending mails about broken
links there...
