[Bug 34896] Tango orange icons might not be HIG compliant

Comment:

While we do respect the Gnome HIG on applications, there is clearly a
need for some more modern work on icon style guides and a need for a
palette that fits well with Ubuntu. The Tango icon style guidelines are
very well written, and Lapo is attempting to follow those. Our own Human
style is a work-in-progress, and will likely incorporate Tango elements
and Gnome elements.

While I appreciate that we need to preserve compatibility and ensure
usability with good icon theming, I don't believe we should be limited
to the Gnome HIG on icons. If you would like, I would invite you to help
define a Human Icon Style Guide once this first draft round is done, and
we are in a position to see what worked and what did not.
