[Bug 34285] When I choose Edit => Preferences, Xchat-gnome freezes

Ok, here is something - when I launch connections with two networks
while launching Xchat-gnome, it freezes for a while until you have
connected to both networks. Then Preferences window appears and
everything is all right.

Step to reproduce:
1. Take two networks trough Edit => Preferences => Networks
2. Choose network at your likening, click "Edit", in "Network Settings" tab click in checkbox "Automatically connect to network"
3. Close window
4. Choose another channel, repeat steps 1 - 3
5. Close Xchat-GNOME
6. Open it from Applications => Internet
7. While app is connecting, choose Edit => Preferences
8. Expierence freeze for 20 secs

At least it is what I get now.
