[Bug 33831] Dapper g-v-m does not mount ipods

Description:
The gnome-volume-manager in dapper does not mount my ipod when I plug it in. It used to in Breezy.
I ran gnome-volume-manager -n and inspected the output when I plugged in my ipod; there was absolutely no mention of /dev/sda (the block device for the ipod) at all.

My ipod does appear in hal-device-manager, and if I type sudo mount
/dev/sda2 /mnt/ipod my ipod mounts correctly. (It's just that banshee
doesn't recognise it if I do it that way.)
