Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-session
The package's patch 11_session_dialog.patch adds a RESPONSE_SWITCH (switch user) option to the logout dialog. When multiple servers are defined in /etc/gdm/gdm.conf (or /etc/gdm/gdm.conf-custom) (I played with Xgl), a dialog is thrown up asking which server to start Xnest with. The problem is that the screen is locked immediately after running gdmflexiserver, so the dialog can only be accessed after unlocking the screen again.
A solution would be to postpone locking the screen after gdmflexiserver is finished asking questions. But I think this is not a suitable question for an ordinary user anyway. I'm not sure at the moment what the best solution is.
** Affects: gnome-session (Ubuntu)
Importance: Untriaged
