[Bug 19619] Interface statistics wrong

Public bug reported:

The interface statistics in nettool are provided by ifconfig, but due to the
counters wrapping when they reach their 32bit limits, these stats are generally
useless.
if it is not possible to make them accurate / useful, it might be better to
remove them.
