Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

default email client is set to evolution

clicking on a mailto link, from firefox called up an evolution compose
mail-to window, and a 'please enter your password' prompt.

cancelling the password prompt, and closing the composition window did
not quit evolution, which prompted incessantly for my email password
(ie, 'please enter your password' -> cancel, wait 1 second, 'please
enter your password' etc).

from a terminal, issuing 'evolution --force-shutdown' caused evolution
to display itself full-screen, and prompt for my password some more

cancelling the password request, and closing the evolution window, did
not prevent evolution from continuing to request my password.

issuing a 'killall evolution' stopped it.

** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed
