This happens to me when I try to use the 'Create Launcher' option on the
desktop. I think a few people have noticed this on the Ubuntu forums.
I noticed the following behaviors of the dialogue:
When I start typing anything with a '/' at the beginning, after the second character the box will close. (i.e. when typing /usr, the box will close after I type '/u').
If I type random characters without the preceeding '/,' the dialogue will not close. (i.e. typing 'asdf' will not close the box).
If I type random characters with a '/' somewhere inbetween the characters (not preceeding), the box will not close. (i.e. typing asd/fdsfd will not close the box).
After typing random letters, adding a '/' to the beginning will close the box. (i.e. typing 'asdgd' and then adding '/' to the beginning will close the box).
These things happen on both Alacarte Menu Editor and Create Launcher on
the dekstop.
