Unfortunetaly it isn't fixed. I also didn't get debug output anymore
(also not with -d). Also the error is in german, even though I run

LC_ALL=C serpentine -d

"Dateikonvertierung fehlgeschlagen

Der Schreibvorgang wurde nicht gestartet, die CD ist noch benutzbar"


Yes, I changed audio.py and I run dapper.
