Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-keyring

When I log into my laptop for the first time after booting,
NetworkManager tries to connect to my WPA-protected wireless network.
Before it can get the PSK for the network, gnome-keyring-manager prompts
me for a passphrase (and empty passphrases are not allowed). This is
cumbersome from a usability perspective, and the security gain is not
worth it for my purposes (and I suspect many other users as well).

The pam-keyring package (http://www.hekanetworks.com/pam_keyring/)
allows unlocking the keyring without (I believe) storing any passwords
in $HOME. It ought to be brought into main, and made at least an option
for unlocking passphrases for gnome-keyring.

** Affects: gnome-keyring (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed
