I solved the problem by adding session optional pam_foreground.so to the end of /etc/pam.d/common-session maybe you have to create /var/run/console. /etc/pam.d/common-session session required pam_unix.so session optional pam_foreground.so -- g-v-m stopped running after upgrade to Dapper https://launchpad.net/bugs/49666
