Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/29402
Affects: epiphany-browser (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
When downloading a file in Epiphany which does not have a total size
reported (the download window says 'Unknown' in the progress box), a
huge amount of CPU time is used by the download compared to downloading
a file with a known download size. There doesn't seem to be a need for
this, and I don't think the problem exists in Firefox.
Example link:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8723130163011577496&q=red+vs+blue+02
-- then click on 'Download' to the right. Downloading this file, or any
other from Google Video, gives me the same problem.
