The bug has been fixed with that upload:

pyxdg (0.15-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream version (Closes: #336537).
  * debian/control:
    - updated the Standards-Version.
  * debian/patches/fix-error-handling.patch:
    - patch from the CVS.
  * debian/patches/fix-reversed-definition.patch:
    - define reversed function which is python2.4 specific,
      change suggested by Sam Morris <sam at robots.org.uk> (Closes: #315091).
  * debian/rules:
    - use the simple-patchsys rule.
