Summary: Nautilus should wait before removing icon when umounting
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: nautilus
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: aurelien at resus.univ-mrs.fr
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

1. plug an usb stick in, it gets automounted
2. write some data on it
3. right-click on the desktop icon => umount volume
4. the icon disapear, unplug the stick
5. your data is _NOT_ on the usb stick

I think that nautilus should wait for the umount command to be done, before
removing the icon!

on a side note, after this I couldn't create any new file on the stick. I had to
format it again, which wasn't that easy:
after umounting, the device is ejected, I had to pumount using the command-line
to keep it and be able to format.

on another side note, the formatting itself didn't went fine at all: I only get
1/10 of the stick size and macosx refused to read it.
But this is another bug, and perhaps related to my hardware (I have already had
this problem with this stick but never with others..)
