Ok, Ryan explained this to me on IRC. I think this is a good idea. The
end goal would be a something similar to what Inkscape does with SVG,
where they have inkscape specific information, but as rotation centres,
etc. is stored in Inkscape specific tags, but the actual data the user
cares about (the drawing) is stored in SVG.
