Thank you for the comments. The bug is set as a wishlist if anybody
wants to pick up to do a spec he's free to do it

That's a panel bug, a right click could allow to "open with"

That one could be useful, but that could be integrated to some other
places (menu editor by example)

The way it should work (and the new upstream implementation will be that
way probably), it that they should monitored and the entry should update
if you rename it from nautilus directly

The application should have it on the top of the "previously open"

Right, it would be nice but requires some hacking and is not trivial so
it'll not happen for dapper. Note that upstream is working on a new
"recent files" system and that may be worth waiting on that
implementation to write the code rather writing something that will need
to be done again soon
