changes to take place. Can you verify if this works if you restart evolution
before creating a new account ?"

"Whenever an account is deleted, a popup is shown to restart Evolution.

Even after restarting Evolution, if you see calendar/contacts folder, then
gconf sync has failed and there is a bug on this already, which is random.
