Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/28727 Comment: Looks like it's just the scrollbar images causing the crash. /usr/share/themes/SphereCrystal/gtk-2.0/scrollbar*.svg Work around is to move them out of the way, but then the scrollbars are harder to navigate.
