[Bug 76912] crashes when not showing subtitles

Binary package hint: totem

When playing a .mkv video with embedded subtitles and chosing view →
subtitles → none, the movie freezes. Totem's UI is still responsive
-buttons can still be pressed- but the movie won't play no matter what.
