Hi Ivailo.  If you'd like to see this bug fix get backported to Dapper,
then you are welcome to follow the procedure described at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates

I don't have any authority in deciding that this bug should or should
not be backported; I simply didn't think the bug report would do any
good sitting around with no attention.
