I have this problem with sound-juicer on ubuntu edgy. I have no problem with the tags produced by kaudiocreator on another distro, but have not tried any ripper other than sound-juicer on ubuntu. -- Mp3 metadata (ID3 tags) are corrupt https://launchpad.net/bugs/64905
