Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gimp-svg

I used to have the gimp-svg plugin installed on this system (Edgy Eft).
However, it no longer exists on the system—it was removed after an
update a few days ago that required a “distribution upgrade” presumably
because there was no new version of gimp-svg to match the updated
version of the GIMP. However…

I still have no gimp-svg. It seems that the gimp-svg package refuses to
install because it requires a different build of the same version of the
GIMP. (?)

When I attempt to install it, this is what I get:

mbt at pepper:~[0]$ sudo apt-get install gimp-svg

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
gimp-svg: Depends: gimp (= 2.2.13-1ubuntu1) but 2.2.13-1ubuntu3 is to be installed
E: Broken packages
mbt at pepper:~[100]$

** Affects: gimp (Ubuntu)
